ISISpace – Innovative Solutions in Space was founded on January 6th, 2006 as a spin-off from the Delfi-C3 nanosatellite project of the Delft University of Technology and is one of the leading companies in the fast-growing small satellite market. ISISpace employs over 100 specialist employees operating from its main site in Delft, the Netherlands and a development branch office in Somerset West, South Africa. The company focuses on nanosatellites in the range of 1 to 30 kilograms - providing high value, cost effective space solutions by applying innovative technologies.
ISISpace is vertically integrated and combines research, design, manufacturing, testing, launch, and operations of small spacecraft in a single organization. This allows the company to accommodate customer’s specific requirements, control quality and leverage core competencies to deliver flight hardware on a short schedule.
The company’s core competencies lie in the application of space systems engineering in combination with an expertise in the following technical areas: radiofrequency systems and payloads, deployable systems and hold-down and release mechanisms, attitude determination systems, and embedded systems (incl. sensor networks).
ISISpace is involved in various national and international technology research programs related to miniaturization, interfacing and small satellites. Together with suppliers and partners, ISISpace supports academic, commercial and governmental customers from all over the globe.
